The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, fiends, and dark forces increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as key figures in the powerful family could assist the team reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them few options but to travel to the remote area in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we discover that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Questers and Planners parties.

Viewers can expect learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
